We will set up a time for a quick phone call so you can learn more about us and ask our experts any questions. Then we can set up a site visit to determine if your backyard has at least 20x30’ of space and discover if you have any lot restrictions.
2.
No Cost, No Obligation (45 Minutes)
On our visit, we will answer any questions you might have and take some measurements to determine where your backyard condo unit will be located.
3.
Assistance with Finance referrals & sign paperwork (1-4 weeks)
We will help you figure out what type of financing that works best for you and take care of the paperwork. We have transparent, up-front pricing.
4.
Finalize Design and Location (1-2 weeks)
Pick the perfect spot for your new condo unit and choose if you want the design to match your existing home or if you would like to do something different.
5.
File a building Permit with the city (1-10 weeks)
We will take care of architectural drawings and work with Austin’s permit office. All required surveying, permitting, or other fees included.
6.
We will set up a foundation & install the apartment (2-8 weeks)
Each backyard apartment sits on a strong, permanent foundation that will enable it to stand the test of time. With your condo unit arriving nearly built, construction is quick.
7.
Select a pre-vetted property manager and find a tenant (1-4 weeks)
Central Texas Backyard Builders helps you through each step of building the condo unit. We work with several experienced property managers to make renting your backyard as easy.
8.
Your first rent check arrives (2 weeks)
